Kate Blackwood is a partner at Deasy Penner & Partners. She has a background in all styles of architecture from Modern, Post Modern, Brutalist, Spanish, Mission, Craftsman, and Bungalow to Cape Cod. Kate’s focused buying and selling areas are All Los Angeles, Ojai, Carpinteria, Montecito, and Santa Barbara. Kate specializes in families and relocation with an in-depth knowledge of school districts: private and public. The formation of Deasy Penner best supported Kate’s clientele who gravitate towards architecture and historical properties. “My mission is to find all the elements that complete a client’s happiness under one roof and call it home.”

With Kate’s extensive experience remodeling and building, she now takes on Estate Management and Project Management for clients who buy and need to customize their homes. Kate was raised in Santa Fe NM and came to Hollywood via New York City for the film industry. After many years as a producer of Music Videos, Commercials, and Films she segued into real estate. At first, by bought, built/remodeled, and sold her own properties, and then by popular demand she became an agent for her film friends and colleagues.
